My partner and I became connected to VCD from a friend back home in Australia. We spent five days at the Lighthouse and five days at the Orphanage in Chitwan, Sauraha. It has been such a pleasure to meet and get to know the VCD family and all the volunteers. The relaxed and sharing energy at the Lighthouse was a delight. Our time at the orphanage was a wonderful experience. The children are adorable and although we had some challenges with the managers there, we felt the whole experience was something that helped us grow as people. What Bickram has achieved and to hear of his visions for the future is very inspiring and I am greatful to have been a part of this journey. As VCD was recommended to us, we shall make sure to recommend it to others too. Best wishes for the future of VCD and its volunteers.
