Being here was an experience like no other. I didn’t know what to expect but any expectations I did have were exceeded. This became my home and you all my family within the first day. This house is nothing but full of love and everything that comes with it will change you for the better. Your eyes will be opened to a new way of life and a culture that will fill your heart. I am forever grateful for everything that was done for me here and it will be something that I will absolutely never forget. I’ve already started planning a trip back to VCD with my mother and sister because this is something I want to share with my family. It breaks my heart to leave but I can’t wait to get back to D.C and share the experience with all my friends and convince them to consider this amazing experience. I will be forever grateful.
